CERT is participating in Shake Out on October 16. If you are a CERT member, please don't hesitate to ask how you can participate. We just had a great drill at our last meeting, and we've been training hard on IC protocols and emergency communications.

If you'd like to participate as a family or individual, sign up at shakeout.org to learn more. Even if you just do drop, cover, and hold, you'll be doing something worthwhile.

The drill starts at 10:16 a.m. If you sign on to their app, you will receive an alert as if this was a real earthquake. We participated in this last year and learned some valuable lessons.
